Introduction 課程簡介
This course is for anyone interesting in learning Chinese for communication purpose, including complete beginners. Chinese Made Easy has two levels: level 1 and level 2.
針對任何對學習漢語有興趣之人士，包括初學者。課程設置第一階和第二階。
All of the texts are composed of dialogue using conversational Chinese from everyday situations. Learners are able to satisfy everyday transactional needs and limited social needs, using conversational Chinese plus basic Chinese characters. Expressing themselves and communicate with others with more confidence. Recognize up to 1700 words.
課程內容涵蓋日常生活和交際所涉及的詞語和對話，約1700個字詞。
By taking this course, students are expected to learn simple communication in daily life, such as: greetings, self-introduction, shopping, taking public transportation, making appointments, ordering food, seeing the doctor, booking tickets, renting an apartment, including living in, working in, or sightseeing within China.

Course Objective 課程目標
Build a solid foundation on Chinese phonetics (Hanyu Pinyin)
Enhance knowledge and skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing.
Apply basic knowledge of grammar and vocabulary with at least 1700 characters and phrases.
After completing the course, students should be able to:
Listening: understand phrases and vocabulary related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local area, employment), can catch the main point in short, clear, simple messages and announcements.
Speaking: communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange on information on familiar topics and activities.

To inspire and guide learning-based, interactive group discussions and role play as a supplement. According to the standard of students in Mandarin and the specific situation and the difficulty of adjusting the progress of teaching, the use of appropriate support materials (such as audio-visual multi-media, Internet teaching and learning materials, language learning games ... etc.). Bring up students to develop good language learning habits, such as Preview, class notes, Review after-school, extra-curricular learning, such as normal accumulation.
